Yes. The terms are often used interchangeably. However, an ACZM (ZooMed) Diplomat specializes in all non-traditional species, where the ABVP Diplomat focuses on specific groups namely, Avian Specialty, Exotic Companion Mammal Specialty, and Reptile and Amphibian Specialty.

VETAHEAD offers courses on zoological medicine (a.k.a. exotic animal medicine). Our courses are guided towards general practitioners, veterinarian students and para-veterinary professionals (veterinary assistants, nurses, technicians, and students), as well as related professionals. The videos can be viewed at any time, and they can be paused, fast-forwarded, and re-watched as many times as you’d like.

You can certainly take notes if you learn better this way. However, each VETAHEAD instructor prepares a complete set of notes so you can focus on the courses without worrying about anything else. The pdf notes are always available! You can use it to have an even more complete and incredible experience!
