SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

VETAHEAD’s Scholarship Program aims to expand access to Zoological Medicine education (a.k.a. exotic animal medicine) to veterinary professionals and students from traditionally underserved and underrepresented groups, including the BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people with disabilities.

We are very proud to announce the third edition of the VETAHEAD scholarship in 2023 and continue to offer this opportunity to veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and students from different parts of the world, with diverse backgrounds.  The recipients will be nominated by our partners and through our own selection process.

The recipients of the scholarship will be granted access to our Essentials membership for free for one year (a value of $420/each). The VETAHEAD ESSENTIALS MEMBERSHIP provides unlimited access to all our on-demand ZooMed (exotic animal medicine) training courses, which includes over 20 hours of RACE approved content. In addition to this, members also have access to beautifully designed e-books, exclusive medical illustrations, videos and photos of procedures, and an emergency calculator for different species.

Members also receive a monthly newsletter, which keeps them updated on the latest ZooMed news, studies, and insights.

Here are some details and deadlines:

Number of positions: In 2023 we will grant 6 scholarships total
