WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Think of team work, respect, and joy! That was the atmosphere behind the scenes of the very first VETAHEAD shooting! There was laughter, mistakes, problem solving, laughing again, and food – A LOT of food! Three intense days of hard work! All to bring to life the content we prepared for you! From our home to your home; cheesy, but literally true! The first course was recorded in the living room of our founder. Not the usual garage startup, but I guess it counts! At the end of every day, margaritas! Words are not enough to describe the power of this event. No. Species. Left. Behind. Thank you!

THE STORY CONTINUES

The second course was recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic. All measures necessary to make it happen in a way that was safe for everyone involved were taken. We had the pleasure to receive the great Dr. Courtney Campbell as an instructor, this time around. Even with a small team, we do our best to bring quality education to you. Here’s to the next ones!

AND NEW COURSES ARE BEING BUILT

Our third and fourth courses were recorded in 2022. For our ZooMed emergency course, we welcomed Dr. Mariana Pardo to the instructors roster. As always, the team was small, but very motivated. The filming days were always filled with hard work and joy all around!

For our pet hystrichomorph (guinea pig and chinchilla) course, our dear Dr. Miranda Sadar was back, talking about some of her favorites species. By the end, we were all tired, but glad to know we had once again completed the base to what would become other great courses. In 2023, we will be back for new filming sessions!

We are currently working on bringing more amazing content to you soon.

Some of our upcoming courses include:

                      • Backyard pet chicken medicine and surgery
                      • Ferret medicine and surgery
                      • Rat, mice, hamster and gerbil medicine and surgery
